Shriya Saran is a well known model and actress who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English films. One of the leading actors of South Indian film industry, Saran had appeared with Rajinikanth in 'Sivaji: The Boss', one of the highest grossers of all times in south India.

Actress Shriya Saran was recently shell shocked when a mob tried to attack her car when she was shooting for a Telugu film in Hyderabad. The actress revealed that a huge crowd had gathered outside her vanity van and was creating a ruckus. Apparently, they wanted her to chant Jai Telangana repeatedly in front of a camera.
Shriya said the slogan once but the crowd demanded her to say it again in front of TV cameras. When she refused, the crowd got unruly. According to reports, someone even threw a stone that broke the side window of her car when she tried leaving the place.
"How can they break my car, throw stones,stop shoot and threaten me to say Jai Telangala on TV.That too in broad day light,Police staring at all of this! What about freedom? Safety? Thank god the stone didn't hit me. Both the windows are broken. Seriously! I'm disgusted. I'm born in India and I deserve my freedom and safety is my right!", Shriya wrote on her Twitter page. She even posted the images of her damaged car.
